Abdominal Imaging | CT and MR scanning | GI/GU imaging | Ultrasound

Division radiologists perform abdominal and pelvic CT and MR scanning, GI/GU imaging and ultrasound. Specialists are highly experienced in all facets of abdominal and pelvic imaging and collaborate with related medical and surgical specialties in the care and management of patients.

The CT/MR sections performs CT and MR imaging of the abdomen and pelvis, and the GI/GU section provides radiographic and contrast studies related to the GI and GU systems.

The Ultrasound section offers all types of ultrasound examinations (except cardiac) for departments within the University of Maryland Medical Center, including bedside examinations on patients in the ICUs and operating and recovery rooms.
