Keeping You Safe During COVID-19

Our team takes every precaution to keep you and your loved ones safe during your transplant process. Some steps we're taking include:

• Scheduling telemedicine appointments instead of in-person whenever possible
• Maintaining a COVID-free floor for our transplant patients
• Testing all donors and recipients 48-72 hours prior to surgery, then quarantining until surgery
• Answering your questions about the COVID vaccine and transplantation

New Treatments for Better Patient Care

We are among the first transplant hospitals to provide new treatments that include:

• Liver transplant for bile duct cancer
• Single-incision laparoscopic kidney donation. Our surgeons use small instruments to remove a donor kidney, leaving only a 1-inch incision.
• One-operation kidney transplant for patients with polycystic kidney disease. Our surgeons remove both kidneys and place a donated kidney in just one surgery.

Effective Liver and Kidney Failure Treatment

We can offer you advanced, organ failure care, no matter where you are along the course of an illness.
