All donors are welcome; you don't have to be a Medical Center employee to do your part there is a need for all types of blood 365 days of the year, and you can give blood once every 56 days.

The University of Maryland Medical Center's Green Team is proud to announce the return of the University Farmers Market on May 19, 2015. This will be the seventh year for the market, which will take place in Plaza Park, across the street from the hospital's main entrance, along Paca Street. Local farmers will be selling fresh fruits and vegetables, artisan cheeses, eggs, poultry, baked goods, soups, sauces and much more. The market will be open every Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. and will run weekly from May 19 through November 24.

Free Cancer Screenings
The Baltimore City Cancer Program, a community-based initiative of the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center, provides free breast and cervical cancer screenings (based on eligibility) Monday through Friday from 8:30 am-4:00 pm at the following locations:
